THE FUTURE OF NATURAL PROFESIONAL BODYBUILDING!
The International Federation of Physique Athletes, Inc. aka IFPA Pro Elite, initially founded by Kareem Petteway and Matthew Shepley, has become one of the most esteemed professional natural bodybuilding organizations and has produced some of the most prolific, competitive and popular athletes in the industry.
As a result of change in ownership, effective January 16, 2017, the International Federation of Physique Athletes will officially change its name to International Pro Elite. The organization will continue its mission and unwavering dedication to the growth, education, awareness and proliferation of competitive drug-free bodybuilding on a global scale ensuring that drug-free athletes are provided the opportunity to compete with other natural athletes, that they are judged fairly, and that they are rewarded for their efforts.
Kareem Petteway and Fred Rowlett will continue to serve as the organization’s Co-Chairman and owners.
Matt Shepley will no longer act as a director or shareholder in the organization. IFPA Pro Elite wishes him well in all of his endeavors as he pursues other business interests.
As we embark on a new year, we are excited to kick off 2017 with our list of pro shows! Along with our affiliate organizations, we will pay out over $400,000.00 dollars in prize money making this an EPIC year for natural bodybuilding!

Q. What does the name change mean for the organization?
A. The organization has changed its name from International Federation of Physique Athletes, Inc. to International Pro Elite, Inc.
This change does not affect operations and provides the organization with the latitude to focus on growth and new opportunities.
Q. What about my pro card and pro status?
A. Your pro status does not change as long as your membership is up to date.
If you currently have a membership card, that card will be honored until it expires. Once you renew, you will be sent a new card.
*New cards will not be sent out if you currently hold an existing card.
Q. Will the Pro shows change for 2017?
A. No, all of the pro shows that occurred in 2016 will occur in 2017 with the same promoters. In fact, we have added 5 NEW pro shows!
Q. If I am not currently a pro, will this affect how I earn my pro card?
A. No, you may continue to earn pro status through our amateur affiliates.
